We're a small Brighton collective who began with a simple belief that everyone should experience the rich taste and nourishing benefits of cacao in its raw and unrefined form.

Put simply, cacao is the core ingredient of what we now know as chocolate. Cacao beans are harvested from the cacao fruit and turned into various products, pastes and powders. Our cacao is minimally processed into a block, which we hand-grind to enjoy as a hot drink.
Hot chocolate is typically made with ultra-processed cocoa powder, sugars and additives.
Because cacao is pure, it has a richer chocolate taste and naturally contains minerals like magnesium and iron. You can control what you add to it.
Yes. Among other things, cacao contains theobromine (a mild stimulant) and a small amount of caffeine - most people can enjoy it in the morning or afternoon. If you’re very sensitive to stimulants, a lower dose is recommended.
Some people add rituals or use it for its superfood properties but you can just enjoy it as is, however you like. There are no strict rules to follow.
Many people enjoy cacao before exercise. It naturally contains theobromine and a small amount of caffeine, so if you're sensitive to stimulants, start with a smaller serving.
